Energy Production and Circulation

This module will cover the Basic Energies, the stuff of Life. From the production of ATP to the complement cascade, from erythropoeitin to synovial fluid, energetic medicine can influence these physiological processes to restore homeostasis:

  • Ying (Nutritive Energy); these are the processes that create the fuel that drives all activities.

  • Wei (Defensive Energy); this is the entirety of our defense system: production and deployment of factors responsible for protection and repair.

  • Blood (Material Qi); from the ingestion of nutrients to production of erythrocytes and circulation of blood, this is hematology and more.

  • Organic Liquids (Body fluids); this explains the fluid dynamics of the body; the production and circulation of all fluids needed for hydration and lubrication.

  • Ancestral Energy, Innate and Acquired Jing, Zhong Qi: We will discuss transmission of genetic information, and what directs the process of reproduction and development as well as tissue specialization and differentiation.
